These historians are twisting history to favor their so called Bono Agenda. Bonomanso was first established by Asona group, later Aduana crushed Asona and took over Bonomanso, Oyoko was the last group to capture Bonomanso, the Ayokofo) who captured Bonomanso migrated from Adanse, Bono doesn’t mean “deep” Bono means caves “ our ancestors were dwelling in caves( Ebon, Bono or Abono,) some of these caves are still in existence at Apire, Abono, Essumegya, Adanse. Mind you, Akan predate Bono, Akwamu, Akyem, Denkyira and Asante etc…. All Akans migrated from Mali empire. First lie by this historian “Abusua a ediikan betena ha 3y3 Bono” Bono is not family but a place of dwelling which is the caves(Ebon or Bono or Abono). The first family to settle in the Amowi cave (Ebon mu), were the Asona family, then Aduana came and crushed Asona and took over Bonomanso. Later in the 1500s Oyoko crushed Aduana and took over Bonomanso.. which made Bonomanso name came into prominent in The 1500s. The name Akan simply meant first, but not Bono(cave). Twi phrase “ yen na y3ba ha Kane” thus we are the first people to settle here” thus Akans or Akanfo). Bono doesn’t meant “first” in Twi language. Bono or Ebon or Abono means hole or cave😂😂😂😂 so the first family to settle in Bono or Abono or Ebonmu is the Asona family. Therefore Akan predate Bono or Bonomanso. Akwamu came into existence in mid 1600s, Akan predate Akwamu, Thus Akan predate formation of all the states. However the first Akan family to live in civility is the Ekuona, the Ekuonas were first to move from caves and built houses hense the name Adansifo). The first Akan state formed was Adansi by the Ekuona family, they introduced centralized system of living. Thus Ekuona introduced Chieftancy in the 15th century . Later Agona captured Adanse and later in the 1695 Asante captured Agona.

The other time I listened to this man with in his interview with some lady, he asserted that the Akwamus which includes the Dormaa people were also at Bono Manso but the Dormaa people later came back to Bono land.
