@dianasaurbytes: AI is magical. Shipping an app still takes work. After building AI side projects, my take: “built in 30 seconds” is a demo claim, not a shipping standard. You still have to check the output, catch what it missed or overbuilt, and iterate. Backend, auth, and deployment still need decisions—even when AI helps implement them. Use AI to move faster. Budget time to make the result actually work. What took longer on your AI side project: getting the first version working, or making it reliable? What are your thoughts on ai agency? Been at it for a while, and been building internal framework to get the loop going

Andy Ma :
Do you need a staging environment? I've always imagined that for most kinds of apps you could just deploy straight into prod and that's good enough. There's no real need to run a staging environment early on. It's just my opinion, but the staging environment is valuable for a few key situations / kinds of apps, and the rest of the time it just creates extra overhead that slows down shipping. My current, perhaps naive, thinking is don’t bring in a staging environment until you see that you need it

Neat Thanks :
Unless you use Replit! It can be built and deployed behind auth and have its own database with no extra setup!
