What werid behavior. Sometimes I get sad that I dont have girlfriends but then I hear stories like this ans feel better. The last friend I had, I told her that her husband was cheating on her and she was pregnant at the time as well, welp guess what she believe him over me and we havent been friends since.

Ngl, my best friend did this kind of stuff to me when we were teenagers. We would go on shopping trips with her mom and they were a lot wealthier than my family. So my mom would give me $20 to spend (this would stretch a lot further back then) plus I might have had a little money to spend from side work. Every time I would pick up a shirt or something I loved, I checked the price and usually had to put it back. She would then pick it up and buy it for herself. EVERY. TIME. I even once to test it out picked up something ugly I didn’t even like and said how much I liked it, then put it back and sure enough…she bought it😂

I had a friend who started getting my exact facial piercings. Then dyed her hair purple too (my hair was blonde and purple, and my favorite color is purple). The final straw was a comment she made about meeting my bf for the first time. He was working overseas for 9 months and coming home. She said I need to tell her the exact date she’s meeting him cause she needs to get her hair, nails and makeup done for the meet. It weirded me out. And lots of other little small things that added up

My aunt. One of the only people I’ve told that I’m struggling financially. I also told her that I wish I could dress better, but my teen clothes from 10 years ago don’t fit me anymore. She called me and told me she has clothes for me, because she’s cleaning out her closet. I asked if I can pick them up a week later and she told me she threw away 5 bags of clothes. That same week she invited me to have dinner and a few days later sent me a payment request of €44 for that dinner. €44 is nothing for her, she has a high paying job and a two income household. €44 is a lot for me. I hope to come back to this comment one day, when I’m successful and thriving and not having to count every cent to buy a single apple at the grocery store.

Jealousy is such a curse and a wasted emotion. In the end it shows in the face and it’s not pretty . Hope a genuine friend comes your way. They are out there, just not in large numbers . One door closes another one opens .😊
