@penningtonpoint: Hard water stains had me ready to replace this toilet! 😳 We’ve NEVER used this bathroom since moving to the lake—the cottage has been storage for the past couple years. Now I’m turning it into my office, and today’s home reset brought me here! I had already thoroughly cleaned the toilet with bleach, and those stubborn toilet bowl rings were STILL there. These Tidy Monster pumice stones scrubbed away the hard water buildup—and now the bowl is glistening white! If only I could unsee the before. 😂 Battling stubborn toilet stains? Tap the orange cart to check out these pumice stones for toilet cleaning. 🤍 #ToiletCleaning #HardWaterStains #PumiceStone #TidyMonster #PenningtonPoint @TIDY MONSTER

FYI - half a bottle of white vinegar also works. Just dump it in and leave it.

I’ve been house cleaning with my mom since I was about 7 (20 years already) Black bottle Lysol toilet bowl cleaner! Let it sit like a normal toilet bowl cleaner and it completely softens the hard water and stains.

NEVER put bleach in the toilet. one when urine mixes with it it causes a gas. second it eats the enamel of the toilet.

Use muractic acid for the pool. It dissolves that build up without even scrubbing. Just make sure you flush repeatedly to flush the acid so the way to the sewer.

We moved into a house that has a stained bathtub. No matter how much soaking, bleach, scrubbing etc. it won’t clean. The tub has a black ring around it and I can’t tell if it’s hair dye or dirt stains. Is this safe to use on tubs? Any other recommendations? Despite knowing the tub is disinfected, in my brain stains = dirty.
