My ex called my employer to tell them I started my own business and was stealing all of their customers. Which wasn’t true, but regardless, she purposely got me fired the same month she was taking me to court to ask for child support. They didn’t care. They set child support based on my highest income. Even a few years later when I had a new job, they used my highest income and said that I had the ability to make more. Ha ha. Insane.

if she can't afford to take care of them. sounds to me Dad should have them. child support is for complete absent parents. not parents that are involved
