I don’t understand why Baela wasn’t re-used, she had a pretty good ending for her time and she wasn’t considered evil or anything. If names like Daemon and Maegor got re-used Baela should’ve been too.

Helaena was an Andalized version of Valaena (mother of the conquers) using Helena so idk how unique or targ it is, and Jacaerys was a velaryron name and I wouldn't be surprised if it was used again since Lucerys was used again with Aerys II master of ships and Jace did die a good death and was remembered as competent and promising. also, while there isn't a 2nd Baela she was named for daemon's father Baelon and we see 2 Baelors whose fathers (Aegon III & Daeron II) knew Baela and chose to use a new name instead of the one it's derived from. for truly singular names I'd add Gael, Viserra, Valerion, Vaegon, Daenys, potentially Aemma, Duncan & Saera if you count them as Valyrian names, Valarr, Vaella, Valaena, Matarys, Maelys, Aelora & Aelor, Haegon, Shaena, Aenor, Calla, Sheira, Gaemon is used 2x but only the dreamers brother husband survives to adulthood; there's also a Rhaegel, a Rhaegar, a Rhae, a Rhaego & a Rhaelle and then as Maegor derivatives there's Maekar, Maegelle, and Maelor. I spent way too long looking at Reddit family tree to comment this, very sorry

I think Baela wasn't reused because it was the feminization of Baelon, which was her paternal grandfather. Baelon WAS reused, and Baelor is also used a few times which I believe is another version of Baelon.
