CBR and CRR affect how much money is available in the economy. When the CBR or CRR goes up, banks have less money to lend and loans can become more expensive, reducing spending and inflation. When they go down, borrowing becomes easier, increasing spending and economic activity. Hehehe so getting loans is going to be tighter and high interest rates

my opinion about the increased crr is to control inflation. alot of money is in circulation, and according to the past years, the crr can even reduce to 11%. whereas BOUs mandate is to control the value of the shilling. The economy is going to hit harder and Ugandans have to absorb the shock for just a few months until economy stabilises
