Its 2pm on a Tuesday btw 😭 You know that one friend whose life has absolutely no difference between a Saturday night and a random Tuesday afternoon? You call her at 11:30 a.m. just to see what she’s doing and she answers out of breath like, “Okay don’t be mad, but I need you to come get me.” From WHERE?? She doesn’t know. Apparently she left the house that morning to “run one quick errand,” which somehow turned into borrowing somebody’s scooter, losing one of her shoes, getting into an argument with a woman named Tammy at a gas station, and ending up three neighborhoods away with absolutely nothing she originally left the house to buy. And when she finally appears, she looks like she’s been missing for 72 hours. Hair destroyed. Sunglasses on for reasons nobody needs to investigate. Outfit making less sense the longer you look at it. One shoe clearly has a completely different backstory than the other. You’re like, “WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?” And she’s genuinely confused by the question. “Nothing. Why?” Ma’am, it is Tuesday. The rest of us have been at work since 8:00 a.m. You have somehow been banned from a Walgreens, briefly responsible for someone else’s patio furniture, and may or may not have a court date. And the best part is she’ll disappear again before dinner. Then text the group chat at 9:47 p.m.: “Does anybody have a wheelbarrow I can borrow? Don’t ask.” Nobody asks. Because we’ve learned.
