@redbaby2u4life: 🍚 Popeyes-Style Cajun Rice Savory, hearty, and full of Cajun flavor. This easy copycat makes a delicious side dish or a simple meal on its own. Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef 2 cups long-grain rice ¼ cup diced green bell pepper ¼ cup diced onion 4 cups beef broth 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp Creole or Cajun seasoning ⅛ tsp cayenne pepper, optional ¼ tsp celery seed ¼ tsp black pepper Directions: Brown the ground beef in a large skillet, breaking it into small crumbles. Add the onion and bell pepper and cook until softened. Drain excess grease if needed. Stir in the rice, beef broth, garlic powder, Cajun seasoning, cayenne, celery seed, and black pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 18–20 minutes, until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed. Fluff with a fork, taste and adjust the seasoning, then serve warm. #CajunRice #CopycatRecipes #SouthernCooking
