“I’m going to knock you the f*** out.” Two council enforcement officers have been sacked after threatening to knock out a member of the public in a video that has since gone viral. During the minute-long encounter, two enforcement officers with body-worn cameras, get into a verbal altercation with a member of the public who is filming them, accusing the person of trying to “mess with our money”. One of the officers turns off his camera during the altercation. Several threats are then made, including: “I’m gonna knock you the f*** out and rip your teeth out. I’ll come and throw you through the f****** walls”. One of the enforcement officers encourages the man to come to the “alleyway right now, we’re gonna show you what time it is bruv.” They also suggest that if police are called, they won’t assist the man recording the exchange, they will “f*** you up, you know, ‘cause we work with them”. It is understood the enforcement agents worked for Kingdom Services Group and had been contracted by Harrow Council. It is not known what prompted the argument, or who the man filming it is. The council has confirmed it is aware of the video and said it took “swift action” as soon as the incident and complaint were raised to us and Kingdom in May, “and the individuals involved no longer work for Kingdom”. “We take any instance of officers deliberately turning off body-worn cameras extremely seriously,” a statement reads. “Threats of violence towards members of the public are wholly unacceptable and will not be tolerated.” Kingdom Services Group has been reported as saying the men no longer work for them. #5news #harrow #council
