@mytvcebu: WATCH: A house in Sitio Kanaas, Barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City collapsed around Thursday noon, September 24 following heavy rains, displacing one family. According to family member Julius Cabahug, his father was sleeping alone inside the house when he suddenly felt the structure shake. He immediately managed to get out before the house collapsed. Julius said his father did not sustain serious injuries, but the incident has left the family worried, especially with his midterm examinations approaching. Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CCDRRMO) Department Head Dave Tumulak said the collapse was caused by a structural problem. Tumulak added that the house is expected to be demolished to prevent it from causing further damage or injuries to other houses located below.
