pre we can't force someone to love us, Letting go of someone you love is a long process that slowly erodes the happiness inside you. Not because your love isn’t strong enough, but because the universe seems to never take your side. You loved them with all your heart, you once prayed with tears that fell silently at night, you once hoped that every day would be only about them, but in the end you have to realize that not every feeling is worth fighting for to your very last breath. You start learning to accept, even when your heart refuses. You start walking away, even when your soul wants to stay. You start learning to smile, in the middle of wounds you can never heal on your own. Every day you pretend you’re okay, even though in your head their name is still noisy, their voice still echoing, their smile still vivid in your memory. You try to erase the memories, but memories can’t be thrown away just like that. You try to love someone else, but no one can take their place. You try to hate, but your heart stays soft whenever you talk about them. And through all of that, you still love them in silence, in distance, in a longing you can’t show. You learn to let go without erasing the feeling, to accept without truly being willing, and to walk alone without a clear direction. And maybe this is the quietest form of love, when you have to let go of someone you know is the only one you ever wanted to hold forever. You keep praying for them to be happy, even if it’s not with you. You keep hoping they’re doing okay, even though you yourself have never really been okay since losing them. And in the end, you realize that love is not always about having someone, but about the courage to let go, when staying with them only makes you hurt deeper every single day. there are more plenty fish in the sea as they said.
