Teaching your kids to value you as a person is important. Just because you’re mom and you’re supposed to do these things doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be valued as just you. I teach my girls this not only for myself but for them too. When they become women with their own lives I want them to know how valuable they are outside of being a wife mom or whatever.

my kid said something I did was no big deal so I said ok so he can do it. he cried while doing it. hes in middle school. I told him imagine if I cried every time I didnt want to do something I had to do. he started offering help so we can do it together.
