Rather than invest in rebuilding a legacy, single-country production setup, the company shifted to modern, standardised manufacturing systems that align with a multinational operating model. Global FMCG companies prioritise products that can be produced efficiently across multiple markets and regions, not ones tied to a specific factory or process in one country.
