👏 I had a friend, every time she went grocery shopping she would keep back $500 and put it in her mom bank account. This went on for more than 13 years. The man eventually left her & moved another woman into their “family” home. She had over $300,000 put aside to start over along with alimony and child support.

I tried telling my female friends that. The day the guy loses his job, that's it. Secondly, when you have a man minding you, you're basically at his mercy and it could lead to potential mistreatment.

My mother is a SAHM and my father never complained. He’s been in the service 25+ years & mind her and 3 children. He literally gives her his pay and she manages the household and gives him an allowance. She has more say when it comes to money and anything. He bought her a car and built her a house, she can do whatever she wants. Not all men is manipulative and uses it as control. But you are right some are like this and it IS best you have your own incase you do encounter a man like that.

My mom was a SAHM. When my siblings and I got older she started her own business and my dad still mind her right through, even though she had her own money. 51yrs of marriage. It was through her he acquired assets. She came into the marriage with premarital assets too and had her own voice. They don't make men like they used to nah. I have a soft life provided by God and me🙏

I dont understand STHMs. My mom told me never depend on a man for anything abd nevrr have more kinds than you can take care on your own. The relationship could end either through divorce for death.

Currently pregnant with my first baby, with almost 3 streams of income and everyone is trying to tell me i won't go back out to work after but I'm way to smart to ever be a housewife or a stay at home mom there is just no way 👏👏👏

A stay at home mom have no safety net, most marriages have issues and problems in this current atmosphere and you being a SAHM cannot leave.. you got no money!

I had to quit my job and be a SAHM in order to take care of my special needs child with severe CP, its bit hard to do extra activities for me, not something i wanted to do but i had no choice but you are so correct with what you are saying,
