Then You said— “I Myself will go with you, and I will give you rest.” How beautiful that is, Lord— You did not say, “I will walk ahead of you; just follow behind Me.” You said, “I will walk with you.” When my steps grow weary, You will match Your pace with mine. When the road disappears into darkness, Your presence will become my lamp. And when too many voices rise within me, You will sit beside me and simply say— “I am here.” And perhaps this is what rest truly means— not that every problem has disappeared, but that even in the midst of them, I know I am not alone. Lord, if You are with me, I do not need to know every turn before I reach it. I do not need the map of the entire journey. I only need Your hand. Because on the road where Your presence walks with me, even weariness becomes a prayer, even tears become worship, and even waiting becomes time spent with You. So today, I lay all my questions at Your feet— what I could not understand, what was never completed, what I have lost, and what is still to come. I let go of my need to hold everything in my own hands. Walk with me, Lord. I will walk with You. Wherever You lead, I will go. Wherever You ask me to remain, I will stay. And when the road feels long, remind me— that more precious than the destination is the One who is walking with me. Because if You are with me, then no matter how difficult the road becomes— my soul is never far from home. “I Myself will go with you, and I will give you rest.” This is my hope. This is my peace.
