@wealthwise.dca: Fervo Energy has achieved first power at its Cape Station geothermal project in Utah, becoming the first greenfield enhanced geothermal systems (EGS) project to synchronize with the grid and export electricity at utility scale. Phase 1 totals ~100 MW across three GeoBlocks; GeoBlock 1 is now generating power, while the other two are expected to reach commercial operation in early 2027. Phase 2 adds another 400 MW, targeted for 2028. The milestone follows Fervo’s recent $20 million in DOE awards for EGS projects in Idaho and Nevada and its 396 MW Google PPA for Cape Station, expected to begin delivering power in 2028. #FRVO #FervoEnergy #Geothermal #EnhancedGeothermal #EGS #CleanEnergy #RenewableEnergy #EnergyTransition #AI #DataCenters #Power #Energy #ClimateTech #EnergyStocks #Stocks #Investing #StockMarket #WallStreet #Markets #Finance
