i am in tokyo as well and when i see people wearing long sleeves a jacket etc and it's 30! I go nuts! and in the metro it's terrible! not really air conditioning and you see people wearing scarfs!

That has nothing to do with our culture. If you see people dressed too warm for an extraordinarily hot day, it’s either because they failed to check the weather forecast, or because they have already put away summer clothes and replaced them for autumn clothes.

What? How do you come to think that?? That’s shocking to hear that. I’ve lived in Japan for like 56 years. I’ve never once thought that. People wear for the weather. Maybe the office they work at is cold or something. It’s crazy to hear you think that.

hey bro i always watched your video when i was stuck in japan for a month in march because of war. Made my trip magical going to the places you showed. i stayed at ici hotel in shin okachimachi, quiet local and very easy access to transport. the hotels there now full for my end of october trip. do you know a similar areas? 😞

通常は気温に合わせて調整するよ。 でも確かに大人の男性の半ズボンは休日だけ認められる感じ。持ってない人も多い。それと秋が短くなったけれど秋にしか着られない服を着たい時もある。
