The Flaws of Capitalism :
To all of the comments saying it was a critique of "authoritarianism", I did pick up on this idea. The issue and the reason I didn't bring it up is because "authoritarianism" is a feeling not an actual thing. Saying "I don't like authoritarianism" is the same as saying "I dont like bad stuff". The question of "what is authoritarianism" has never really been asked, authoritarianism is not when policy A,B,or C. Athoritarianism cannot be defined at all actually, its simply this abstract and unmeasurable idea we use to critique things we dont fully understand. I challenge anyone who says this, how do you define and measure authoritarianism? then explain to me how this measurement coresponds to animal farm and explain how I missed the point of the book using this measurement.

as a socialist myself this book was genuinely well written and good, while it did critique communism to and extent it was more so a critique of totalitarianism as a concept
