My grand-dad was told by his pops to always ask before dating a gal. Pops just wanted to make sure he didn't get mixed up with a 1/2 sister. My dad got us the heck outta there to prevent any tomfoolery.

I didn’t think we lived in a small town in New England until the pastor at our church had to admit to his own indiscretion(s) because one of his sons wanted to date his affair partner’s daughter, who was his. And he had a son outside his wife as well. Yep. And he had a TON of kids with his own wife! If that’s not bad enough, they let him stay on as the pastor. Needless to say, we left that church 🤢🤢

omg... true story... i went to school ALLLLL the way through with a boy who was 9 months to the day older than me. I graduate a class of 35. Things could have gone very bad because I gound out as AN ADULT that we had the same Dad.

I literally would not date anyone from a small town 20 miles north of mine not because I might have an unknown brother out there but unknown first/second cousins & uncles were a definite possibility! My mom’s family was related to everybody!

Oh dang listen. I need to a video on this exact issue!! Except it was a friend of mine who passed off the baby as her husband’s and to this day no one in her family knows! Just her, me and the REAL baby daddy! Our kids grew up together too. 😂

At 14 I found out I had two older half brothers. One from my mom, he was given up for adoption so have never met and don't know who he is. Also one from my dad, who lives here in my town and I met at 18. Last year in May I found out I had two older half sisters, also by my dad. They both have different moms and had been given up for adoption at birth. Who knows how many more are out there.
