This entire vesna quest was pantalone learning to accept his grief 🥰 I’m so happy they went in depth into this topic. Pantalone is a prideful man and I wouldn’t have wanted any other way for them to present grief. The fact is that he has never mentioned Dottore anywhere. Neither has he ever seemed visibly upset makes me love how hoyo portrayed him so much more.

Mb he didn't want to lose them at all. Mb he took his seal to look at the memory it captured for the last time, knowing that it could disappear. And returning the lamp he showed Vesna his silent appreciation for saving the memory about his closest friend/partner (whatever u prefer). He wanted to say goodbye to his seal before going to fight with those who steal them, and returned so every single one would be in place, so it wouldn't be suspicious. At least that's what I think
