I have to do a friend of mine's wife, she lost her entire wallet with everything in it and Shibuya crossing, reported it that day... got a phone call within 24 hours to go pick it up... all of her credit cards her money, nothing touched

I made copies of my passport at 7/11 in Japan for an application and forgot my passport in the machine. Went back to the same 7/11 for coffee the next day and they literally brought it out to me. I didn’t even realize I had lost it yet.

Best friend lost his phone in Asakusa. Whole group looked for an hour up and down the streets, nothing. Went to report it lost at the police station around the corner and a local came in to drop it off while he was still in there. Love Japan.

We lost our tripod at Tokyo Disneyland and went to report it to lost and found fully expecting to never see it again. They had it in there for us 🥲

My daughter left her phone on a bench in a mall in Okinawa and this little boy (probably like 6 or 7) and his grandfather SEARCHED the mall and found us in the foodcourt to return before we even realized it was missing.

We lost our dji camera in Kyoto and were so sad, next day we go back to that same spot we last remembered we had it and sure enough they all started to get excited with us and handed it back to us😂

The same thing occurred with me; I lost my phone in a city park in Tokyo and retrieved it from an information center. That wouldn't have happened here in the States.

I took the bus from the airport to the mall and hung my bag of new cinverse on the seat. got to the mall and left my bag, didnt realize til the bus drove off. 2hrs later, take the bus back to the airport, my bag was still hanging from the same seat back. it was great.

I lost my wallet and it was properly held by FamilyMart. I lost my cellphone on the snowy slopes of Hakuba while snowboarding and it was turned in before I made it down the slope 😳.

My passport fell out of my pocket once while walking through a metro station. This Japanese couple behind me saw it, picked it up, and ran to catch me. It was really lucky they did because I was on my well to sell some stuff at a card shop and Japanese law requires you to have an ID for that.
