Ok I'm a woman, i have naturally longer nails but not that long, and I have the same question lol cause I have scratched myself multiple times, and again, my nails are shorter than yours lol

Artificial nails show a much higher likelihood of harboring pathogens (nearly 90%) which is why healthcare/hospitals restrict them. Doesn't matter how well one wipes, it's more bacteria in general

i started with shorter ones and they grow out and the tech only files them a little and you slowly get used to longer and longer nails. the hardest part is to go from long nails to short in an hour, because suddenly you dont function at all!

the real issue when having long nails is avoiding scratching your eye out when removing contact lenses...so I always have the nails on my right hand's thumb and index finger as press on instead..so I can remove them before bedtime
