After yesterday Egyptian dance practise I also did khaleeji, but I kept it simple — no gestures, no heels, no experiments 😂 Just focusing on the footwork, hips, music and control. But one thing I have learned from this journey is that I need to experiment. Sometimes something looks awkward before it becomes natural. Some movements I struggled with months ago are now starting to settle into my body, and I like to see how much I improved. So I definitely don’t promise that I won’t experiment again. 😂 That’s how I learn. Some experiments will work, some won’t, and that’s okay. I’m documenting the process, not pretending I’m already at the finish line. 💃🏻
