Nr. 1 would never work that way because a) if someone is very powerful but doesen't care about money - that can become insanely dangerous, because they're not an opportunist but an ideologist and that'd even worse and b) As if someone with a lot of power would be held back by a poverty vowl if some sort😅. If someone is that powerful, what exactly will you do if they break that vowl? That's why we need democracy - in order to distribute power more widely. I agree with your takes on topic 2 and 3 though

in capitalism-maxxing hyper-individualist america even universal healthcare is considered controversial, so i think most of my ideas about how to run society are considered pretty radical here 😅 (i wish it was easier to emigrate from this country lol.) i guess my most radical idea would be that they should get rid of grades in school, and cut wayyyyy back on homework too while we’re at it. also, no individual screens in school until like MAYBE high school. it’s important to write things by hand. and also, BRING BACK TYPING CLASSES. lots of children don’t know how to touch type nowadays bc for SOME reason ppl thought that having chrome books would magically mean they could type too. and for the love of god, BRING BACK HOOKED ON PHONICS IN AMERICA BECAUSE NOBODY KNOWS HOW TO SOUND OUT WORDS ANYMORE. i’m part of the last generation of americans to do better in school than the generation that came before, and it concerns me a lot tbh lol

My most controversial take is that billionaires shouldn’t exist. I don’t think we as humans were meant to own so much wealth or resources. Not as an individual. I think it does something to most of us that slowly strips away our humanity.

I will also die on the hill that politicians should absolutely retire at the same age all the other people retire and they shouldn't be allowed to intervene in any way after retirement. As well as they should have regular health checks and taken off their post when there are clear signs of mental and cognitive/executive decline. Why do we have 80yr olds with Alzheimer's running our countries? 🫠 Also, somebody said to add S/A perpetrators to the violence against children and animals and I agree.

Completely agree! I'm currently in the middle of a situation with a child - really young man - who has been abused for his entire life. The feelings I have about the people responsible... you put it well.
