I think the appeal of the games, is that the debate is very unique and immersive way to handle a mystery, with atleast somewhat entertaining characters. You can debate how the games are well written, but they in my opinion are atleast extremely entertaining, and there’s a reason the game that doesn’t have the trials is so dunked on (besides all the pedo shit)
