@walkphak: To Everyone Who Has Ever Failed, Been Rejected, or Felt Like Giving Up—This Post Is for You. 🤍❤️ Two months ago, I experienced doubt, fear, and heartbreak after being rejected during my visa interview. 💔 I felt discouraged and ready to give up. But I’m deeply grateful for the Lord, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost, who comforted me through scripture, his people, and service. 🙏 I decided to try again, trusting that the Lord sees and loves our efforts. Now I understand why I needed those two months. I was able to spend precious time with my family, especially my grandmother, my church, friends, and the children in my community. I witnessed so many blessings and miracles while I waited. ❤️ And today, I’m incredibly grateful to share that my visa was approved on my second interview! 🇺🇸💚✅ And one moment will always stay in my heart. 😭👵🏻 A couple nights before my interview, my grandmother knocked in my door and asked: Grandma: “Can I go to Bangkok with you for your interview?” Me: “It’s okay, Grandma. You don’t need to go. If I get rejected again, I’ll probably cry. I think I can handle it better by myself.” Then she said: “It’s okay. No matter what the outcome is, I will be there for you. I will pray for you while you have your interview. You’re not going to be alone.” 👵🏻 Those words brought me to tears. Sometimes, one of the greatest blessings God gives us is simply knowing we are not alone. ❤️ As Ether 12:6 teaches: “…ye receive no witness until after the trial of your faith.” Looking back, I realize that rejection wasn’t the end of my story. It gave me time to grow, serve, love, pray, and trust God’s timing. To anyone who has failed, been rejected, felt lost, or thought about giving up: The Lord has a plan for you. Trust His timing. You may not understand why you are where you are today, but keep your faith, keep praying, and keep pressing forward. ( 2 Nephi 31:20) Thank you to everyone who prayed for me, encouraged me, and supported me. 🙏❤️ Trust His timing. Keep your faith. Keep praying. Never give up.
