@sebastian_schieren: switzerland🇨🇭probably the best place on earth to be a cow 🐮 and still, 99% of calves on milk farms here get taken from their mom right after birth. she’s about one year old. next year she’ll be made pregnant so she starts giving milk 🍼 her baby gets taken away and the milk goes to us. that happens every year until she doesn’t make enough money anymore, usually around age 5. then she ends up as sausage and burgers. this is not against the farmers, they only do what we pay them for. if you want to have an impact, eat and drink more plant based alternatives 🌱
