Have you visited anywhere outside of zone 2? If not, do so before uprooting your life. London (where I was born & lived my entire life) is expensive, cramped, dirty, both hot and cold, depressing and exhilarating. Driving and parking is a nightmare but transport can be worse. food is expensive, rent and bills are expensive, London is one f the most expensive cities on earth. Just, if you haven't, try to live like a londoner for a few days outside of touristy areas before making the big move!
