people need to realize that just because a pet or a person has a disability doesn't equate to suffering. I'm in a wheelchair, my son has severe autism, and we have 4 disabled cats, on is blind, one has epilepsy, one has a deformed leg, and one is chronicly a jerk, lol, but we all live a happy life where our needs are met we are happy and loved. disabled doesn't mean suffering. disabled animals and people can lead happy full lives.

People fail to realize that cats are some of the most intelligent and stubborn creatures we've domesticated. If he was suffering he would have let go a long time ago. So clearly he isn't suffering. In fact I'd bet money he's living his life to the fullest.
