@gatorchris1: Crocodile proving yet again that “well fed” doesn’t “keep them calm”, and she’s more than happy to rip my hand off a literal second after downing a rack of ribs bigger than her head!! This is two clips of Akila the Nile crocodile one year apart! In the first clip she eats something the size of her head and IMMEDIATELY charges up biting the camera! “Theyre well fed so won’t bite” has to be the most common and obnoxious comment I get, no matter how many times I show they’ll bite the hand that feeds. A lot of comments also ask if it’s too big of a piece for her, and why didn’t we separate the meat from the bone for her to eat, I kid you not 😂. Why yes, in the wild they politely ask the wildebeest to dismember itself beforehand, and to never allow meat and bone to mix! That just won’t do! Boneless chicken nuggets only for the apex predator dinosaurs! Nile crocs have a stomach acid ph of 1.0, and I’ll remind everyone that this species consumes an estimated 200-300 humans each year with little trace left behind.
