I m sorry guys. It’s unfortunately not the best movie of the year, when you’ve read the book. The vital parts are missing, there’s no real yearning, 3 YEARS worth of yearning(!), no chips scene, where we get more information about Adam’s backstory and it’s such a cute Scene! NO HOLDEN - one of the vital part, making Adam more nice and soft and good and a contributing factor to the love story. AND Tom gave her the SBD conference spot??? WTF?! She did that herself!!! And everybody knows that without evidence against Tom, that it’s his word against hers, so what’s the point!!! It could have been so so so good, but it’s not! Why didn’t they make a miniseries like off campus, HR, TSITP, etc. I loved Lily and Tom though! No questions asked. But I could not really connect with Adam. Didn’t feel the magic like Maxton hall or OC made me feel😩

I loved the movie but it feels like every thing was squeezed in 🥲 some timelines were mixed up and I missed so many Adam and Olive scenes that I really wanted to see irl. And Malcom was supposed to know it was fake, he wasn’t the one that was supposed to blow up on Olive. Adam was supposed to catch her and Malcom talking about her liking Adam and pretend other wise 🥲
