I think I offended my husband once when after another story like this happened and I said: Please don’t kill us. If one day you get tired of me and the kids and you want a new life. I’ll take the kids and leave. You don’t even have to see me ever again because all my family is in another state and you know I’ll go there. He just stared at me dumbfounded and it really makes you realize how they don’t ever think or worry about this stuff.

That’s the sad part about it though. You can tell them “just leave me I’ll be fine”, but that man is not going to just leave you, EVER… he knows that you are worth too much. He knows that you will go on to live a great life and after all he did, you’ll be able to speak on it.. He knows he doesn’t love you, but he doesn’t want anybody else to have you.. so he’s going to take your life. Unfortunately, that’s the world that we live in.

I literally called my husband at work today and said “if you ever decide you want to leave me or you love another woman, please just divorce me. Don’t kill me. I’ll be heartbroken but I would like to live. Just divorce me and I’ll make it the easiest divorce in history.” He was very confused😂 but I had to make sure we were clear about it

They don’t want divorce because they don’t want to divide; their assets, money, custody, none of it. They want the woman, and potentially children, erased so they can’t be entitled to anything. Then, they will just restart their life, as if they haven’t just destroyed or ended others.
