@christislord256: Christianity began in the first century CE in the Roman province of Judea, a region that is now part of Israel and Palestine. It developed around the teachings and life of Jesus of Nazareth, a Jewish teacher who preached about God, forgiveness, and the coming Kingdom of God. Jesus attracted followers from different parts of Judea and Galilee. His teachings were often shared through stories and conversations with ordinary people. According to Christian beliefs, Jesus performed miracles and was the promised Messiah. He was eventually arrested and crucified by Roman authorities. Christians believe that Jesus rose from the dead three days later, an event known as the Resurrection. After Jesus’ death, his followers continued spreading his teachings. The apostles, especially Peter and Paul, played an important role in establishing early Christian communities. Paul travelled throughout the Roman Empire and wrote letters to different groups of believers. These letters later became part of the New Testament. At first, Christianity was a small movement within Judaism. Over time, however, more non-Jewish people joined. Christian communities appeared in cities such as Jerusalem, Antioch, Corinth, and Rome. During its early centuries, Christianity sometimes faced persecution from Roman authorities. Despite this, the religion continued to spread. By the fourth century, Christianity had become a major religion within the Roman Empire. #christianity #lgbtq #debate #religion #lgbt

Gal :
You don’t have to support, but don’t have to disrespect them. I accept them no matter what because atleast it’s love and not hatred.

You can still love them, and except that they are flawed like ourselves. But we do not have to affirm the things that they are doing wrong

as a follower of Christ it is disheartening to see so many people use the argument of "righteous judgement " as the safety net to justify their hate or discomfort when they too are not above sin. People often forget that no person living, dead, or yet to be born (minus Jesus) are sinless and try as they may will never live sinless lives. However when Jesus died and bled on the cross he ensured that all sins are and will be forgiven for every sinner no matter the race, the religion, the gender, or who you love. That being said, it is hypocritical to point fingers and say "you can't do that, that's a sin", when you yourself are not above sin, everyone sins and struggles with sin but it is Jesus who saves all, not some, all. It to me is blasphemy to appoint yourself in that position when it is God who judges.
