Using my eyeliner for nail art!!! 🫨 I can’t believe this worked!! A few thoughts: ✨ you want to choose an opaque eyeliner based on acrylates and a bristle brush! The more ink-based felt-tip ones don’t work as well from my experience. ✨ it doesn’t get as sticky as nail polish but the acrylic-based paint still dries down and gets chunky after a while! I recommend experimenting with it a bit to get a feeling for how the paint behaves on the nail. ✨ it dries down matte and, seeing as acrylic paints are waterbased, the top coat doesn’t smudge them. Top coat also helps to smoothe out the texture! ✨ for the swirls, I sketched out thin lines first, connected them and gradually thickened the curves. You get the best effect if you don’t overdo the thin parts of your lines. You can go as thick as you want on the curves, but make sure you barely even touch the thin areas! This will help you achieve a nice dynamic looking pattern!
