If you live anywhere near a fire station, you will see them out washing the vehicles all the time. They are always clean and shiny. They take pride in their job and their equipment.

In the US, the federal vehicles HAVE to be clean. Thats why you’ll see cop cars in line at the car wash almost every morning. Just like how the officers have to be in uniform, the vehicle has to be up to spec, or they can be given a demerit at work.
