At 55, I’ve learned that ageing can quietly make your world smaller… if you let it. You stop trying new things. You become more cautious. You start saying, “Maybe I’m too old for that.” And little by little, you can stop doing the things that once made you feel alive. I don’t want that. For me, ageing well isn’t about desperately trying to stay young. It’s about building a body and a life that allow me to KEEP LIVING. ✨ These are 7 things I stay consistent with 👇 🏋️‍♀️ 1. I strength train Muscle isn’t just about looking toned. Maintaining strength becomes increasingly important as we age for mobility, balance and independence. 🚶‍♀️ 2. I move every single day Walking, swimming, stairs, stretching — it all counts. I’ve stopped believing movement only matters when it happens in a gym. 🥩 3. I prioritise protein + nutrient-dense foods Protein supports muscle maintenance and recovery, while vegetables, fruit, fish, eggs, nuts and seeds give my body the nutrients it needs. 😴 4. I protect my sleep I aim for 7–9 hours because recovery matters just as much as training. I stopped treating sleep like something I could sacrifice without consequences. 🧘‍♀️ 5. I work on mobility + balance Being strong is important, but I also want to keep bending, reaching, travelling, swimming and trusting my body as I get older. ❤️ 6. I keep doing things that make me feel ALIVE Travel. Swim. Dance. Laugh. Try something new. Do something that scares me a little. I never want getting older to mean becoming a spectator in my own life. 🧬 7. I support my NAD+ every morning NAD+ is involved in cellular energy metabolism and other important cellular processes. Supporting this pathway has become one of the simple things I consistently include in my morning routine. It’s the combination. The repetition. The YEARS of showing up for yourself. 💌 Comment “HEALTH” and I’ll send you my NAD+ support I use every morning. ✨ Follow me first so my message doesn’t get lost in your requests. #healthy #cellularhealth #exercise #women #beauty
