@marketingmamachlo: There was a time when staying home with my baby was what I wanted most… but financially, I didn’t know how we were going to make it work. Because love doesn’t pay for groceries. It doesn’t buy the next box of diapers. And it doesn’t make the bills stop coming. I hated feeling like my choices were either go back to work before I was ready or stay home and continue stressing about money. I didn’t want either. I wanted to be present for this season of my son’s life AND know that I was helping us build a better future. So instead of accepting those as my only two choices, I started looking for something I could do from home, around my son’s schedule. I started learning how to make an income online and worked on it during nap times, after bedtime, or whenever I had a little pocket of time. And that one decision has created more breathing room for our family than I thought possible when I first started. I share this because I know there’s another mom sitting there right now thinking: “I would do anything to stay home… I just don’t know how we could afford it.” I know that feeling. And sometimes you don’t need to have your entire future figured out.
