The level starts off deceptively manageable before steadily ramping up into increasingly demanding gameplay, with tight transitions, difficult timings, fast-paced sections, and punishing wave gameplay. Every section requires serious concentration, but the later parts are especially infamous for destroying runs after several minutes of progress. The level’s difficulty isn’t just about learning the individual parts—it’s about being able to execute the entire level consistently while dealing with the pressure of getting further than ever before. The level became even more notorious after Doggie suffered two separate 97% fails, making the ending feel almost cursed. Reaching 97% twice only to lose the run at essentially the final stretch demonstrates just how unforgiving Grief can be, especially when nerves start taking over after surviving the hardest sections. Those deaths became some of the most memorable moments associated with the level, perfectly representing its ability to punish players even when they appear to be seconds away from victory.
