@bornforthisfaith: I’m not bothered by disagreement. I’m bothered by being told what I believe by someone who hasn’t taken the time to learn what I believe. If you’re going to tell me I worship a “false God,” then tell me: What false god do Catholics worship? If you’re going to dismantle Catholicism, dismantle Catholicism—not a theology you created, assigned to us, and then defeated yourself. I’m sorry to tell you this, but dismantling a belief requires studying it. Read the primary sources. Learn the doctrine. Understand the terminology. Represent the position accurately. Then challenge it. And Catholics, the same standard applies to us. Edification before apologetics. Because inventing someone’s argument and defeating it isn’t intellectual rigor. It’s a straw man with a victory speech. #CatholicApologetics #CatholicFaith #CatholicChurch #ChristianApologetics #BornForThisFaith
