it's my total safe room I've always been in a chaotic house so when I felt the most scared I'd hide there I can flush the toilet to mask the sound or mask my crying when I'm triggered but present,I'm totally okay feeling my emotions and hiding my crying. but when I an not able to handle the emotions with others around the house I need the bathroom asap

Bc there wil very rarely be someone randomly walking into it. You can feel safe and say no when someone knocks on the door. I think this could be a reason for some poeple but idk

I think because the bathroom is a private room for do things that you don’t want anyone to see. I just to think that was for the cold, but no, now I can see that what I just write. And don’t worry, almost everyone do that. For me that was the only place where I could be myself, singing, dancing, crying… just for that, because anyone can see me.
