Omg I have had SO many thoughts on this and have been watching this case very closely. I once did some psychology research on 'mad or bad?'. There's so many extremes in this. Having worked with schizophrenia and psychosis a big chunk of my career I do not see this in her files or evidence so far. Neither did the majority of professionals she consistently had support from. It just happens when she didn't die she claims ironically that she heard voices. There is the defence saying you can't know whats in her mind but actually at this level of unwell there are tells that are very easy to spot when trained. On a personal level if I EVER harmed my children or any in fact, I'd want the maximum punishment anyway so don't understand why she's fighting her case anyway if she had any sort of moral compass and mother instinct!
