the thing that gets me is that this stuff still happens today in 2026 with all the technology we have. I also feel like they don't test old evidence enough. there should be more people on that so we can get these cold cases solved.

This makes me think about the show Naming the Dead. It’s about the DNA Doe Project identifying unidentified people and finding their families through genetic genealogy.

there was a case in Orlando of a little girl named Regina Mae Armstrong whose body was found approximately 20-30 miles away and placed in a police locker. the search for her was the biggest in the state and the police chief didn't think to mention it to anybody

I believe that many times these disappearance cases can be solved more easily if the authorities cooperated better.Better communication between police departments across states could help solve all these mysteries...
