@judetheacupuncturist: Two acupressure points to melt that tension building up in your back and neck. The first one is Bladder 10. It’s located on either side of the back of your upper neck, in the hollows just outside the trapezius muscle. Massage this point very gently with your thumb for 90 seconds on each side, as long as it feels comfortable. You can also try Small Intestine 13, which is located in the hollow just above the inner end of the bony ridge across your shoulder blade. This area can be very tender, so use light pressure. Use your fingers if you can reach comfortably. If reaching is difficult or painful, don’t worry. Ask your partner, a friend or a family member to help, using light to medium pressure for 90 seconds on each side. The pressure should feel comfortable; stop if it hurts. This may help ease tension around your shoulder blades and neck. If you want to upgrade your acupressure routine, look into my acupressure tools. They can improve precision, reduce the strain on your hands and elevate your acupressure practice. Shop acupressure - link in bio! Educational content, not medical advice.
