@turtlehospital: It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of little Ricardo 💔 This juvenile green sea turtle suffered a severe head injury from a boat strike. Despite the incredible care and support from our veterinary team, Ricardo lost significant weight during his time with us. He was already a very small juvenile when he arrived. Our veterinary team worked tirelessly to give this little fighter every chance, and we are incredibly proud of the care they provided to him 🙏🏼 Thank you to everyone who kept Ricardo in your thoughts and prayers, and for sending those healing energies. We are so grateful for the love and support you showed this little turtle ❤️‍🩹🐢 #seaturtle #marineconservation #savetheturtles #wildliferescue #rescuerehabrelease @TurtleBette
