when one person is stubborn and selfish in their behaviours. the spouse gives up and starts living for themselves. many have wasted years on stubborn ,arrogant people too self reflect and change. resentment and hatred beings as the other person does not acknowledge the damage they have caused. silent divorce happens where formality is considered to push through life.

What is your opinion on someone who has walked out of a marriage without any divorce, reconciliation or any communication and no acknowledgment of his wife and children. We tried to get them to sit and sort it out but he is saying he only married for a passport?? He hasn’t given her any form of closure and he doesn’t wish to see his children either. He is a known face in the Bangladeshi community Tv world. He presents a Islamic program on a specific uk tv Bangladeshi channel. He is not a scholar, he is a taxi driver.

so true, I was married 27 years this happened to me. I slept in another bedroom for 2 years before the inevitable happened. we grew apart it was so sad. I moved to live in egpyt and now I have the most amazing man ever . we are inseparable and despite our cultural differences I learnt to love again and I feel like a princess, he treats me so well and I love it. we respect each other and I feel like I found my soul mate.

Very true. I’ve live my life this way. Thinking one day happiness will arrive. But husband never came to understood. Now he is ill bedbound. Still he’s horrible with he’s words 😢I’m the main Career now for him. Sake of Allah I don’t mind Ameen 🤲

Gave love, respect, sacrificed moving away from my family, gave money while I never treated my self, gave 4 children, I pay mortgage but verbal abuse, nagging , speaking to girls I don’t know how to escape. I’ve spoke to him but will never change. The words kill me more
