@pakpak.dairii: The Pak-pak Dairi are an ethnic group distributed across the Dairi, Pakpak Bharat, Humbang Hasundutan, and Central Tapanuli regions of North Sumatra, as well as the Aceh Singkil and Subulussalam areas of Aceh. From the Dutch colonial era to the present, this group has been classified as a sub-ethnic group of the Batak people, despite actually differing significantly from the Batak in many respects. Today, the number of people who actively practice Pakpak culture is very small, due to a lack of focus on ensuring that future generations preserve Pakpak customs and traditions. #asian #asianculture #traditions #worldhistory #History
