Oh momma 💕, sending you hugs and also, this is the best your hair has ever looked, I love it so much! Back to the question at hand… My advice is this: don’t try to protect them from their own testimony. Don’t save them, don’t bail them out, don’t think for them or overreach for them. Let them make mistakes safely and help them figure out how to get themselves out of a mess. Even if it means they don’t graduate or they go to jail. Really. I have learned this lesson the hard way. I also know my God is so good and he is with them all the time, and his ways are better than even the best mom’s ways. Sometimes he needs to meet them at the bottom so that they can truly encounter him. 😘🩷 Give them and yourself, grace.

Be kind & generous period. No rushing time. Meet them where they are (not the adult they’ll be). Deliver the right message (of the lord) nothing else. My adult children only remember the time I yelled 😭 & very little else.

Not sure when and if you are going to allow social media- but if you do, seriously limit the time and what she is watching. Social media caused a lot of mental issues for my teenage daughter. It sounds like you are doing everything right! 💗

Just remember they will mess up, do wrong, embarrass you and intentionally hurt your feelings sometimes but it’s part of teenage changes.

Every new phase will be bittersweet, just stay present & enjoy who she is becoming, laugh as much as you can with her & love her well! 🤍🙏🏻

the relationships get so much better as they get older like little people who can still be young but still relate to older stuff it’s a sweet time

I feel the same way about my baby who is 17. People always said wait until she's a teenager...I was nervous for teen years but should have known better. She is an absolute joy. Best advice is to try and transition to guidance rather that commanding and let your child make some of their own decisions and guide them and let them be open with you.🥰
