Online thrift tip, it’s gonna be older people selling off their stuff, and your grandma isnt going to put y2k vintage authentic in the title or tags, she’s just gonna put leather jacket brown or something. The more generic the better! Just keep searching till you find what your looking for

I have a 90s Wilson’s leather jacket identical to that Abercrombie jacket that I thrifted for $10. Keep your eyes open at the thrift. It’s my favourite jacket EVER.

I still wear the A2 I purchased new in 1986 when I was 16. I paid for it on layaway and had to drive 30 minutes one way every week to make the payments. I love it even more now that has an amazing patina.

I love how I buy a leather jacket and all of a sudden all my SM feeds are giving videos about how pleather is horrible and tips for finding a secondhand leather jacket. I’d have gone secondhand if I wasn’t buying this with the intention to use it in a cosplay as well as part of my regular wardrobe.

Not leather but I spent two years looking for a denim Sherpa jacket bc I just couldn’t commit to an Abercrombie one. Bought a vintage “Valentino jeans” one today in Florence. Idec if it’s h Valentino or whatever, it’s 100% cotton, and already broken in. Fits like a glove.

Also, if you need to get cigarette smell out of a jacket, I’m currently trying the baking soda method (putting jacket in a garbage bag with an open ziploc bag of baking soda to absorb smells). It was a free sueded leather jacket so I’m doing what I can.
