The only time I called a store from inside the store was when I worked at a place and was stuck in the bathroom no toilet paper. Other than that, there’s zero excuse to call from inside a store or a restaurant to get help

I almost had to do this once, but it was because the bathroom door (which was floor to ceiling and not like a stall) got stuck…. like super stuck. I had to use items inside the bathroom to try and get the lock to unlatch. It was an ordeal and I nearly called the front of the restaurant for advice or assistance 😂 I would never call for my check or a to-go box but this was the closest I’ve gotten

What’s worst when they are literally sitting in front of you on the counterbar top, and kept asking the cashier for things. Cause all the waitstaff are busy and helping others… when as (cashier) all I can do is look for their server and wait… yet I get negative poor Yelp reviews 🤣😳🤣

I omce told a customer that she couldn't order a kids meal (against store policy). She tried calling the store phone and ordering one ToGo. I answered the phone 🤣 Stared her down while she stared at me on the phone telling her we didnt slow that either. lol

I don't work in a restaurant. But I do work in Retail as customer service. And it pisses me off when customers call our counter while in our store🤬. Definitely feel the pain

I’ve never done that, but I did once call inside a Zaxbys bc they asked me to hold on at the drive-thru and never came back. After 10 minutes, I called and let them know they had forgotten me. 😂

I would’ve told Karen hold on for a minute, I’ll get your server and put her on the phone. She’s walking up to somebody but I’ll stop her. I would’ve went and got her, had her come to the host stand to talk to Karen on the phone. Lol

I've done it, and if the situation occurs again, I'd do it again. Slow night. Our server was standing at the host stand for at least 20 minutes chatting with the host. I made eye contact with her multiple times and even motioned her over, politely. She turned away from me. So yeah, I called. Like I said, if the situation ever occurs again, I'd do it again. Sincerely, a former server.

I don't understand, isn't going out to eat not just about eating, but the whole dining experience? Why the f don't they just go to a fast food place and sit in the dining area & eat if they can't wait 10min for everything to be finished? There's a cpl reasons I don't work with the public, my mouth and my hands 🤷🏼♀️
